His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Member of the Board of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA Foundation), participated in the Foundation’s periodic Board meeting, held virtually on Monday, 22 June 2026, with the participation of Board members and representatives of the International Basketball Federation.

The meeting discussed a number of agenda items related to the Foundation’s projects and programmes aimed at leveraging basketball as a tool for community development and for promoting educational and humanitarian values around the world. Participants also reviewed the Foundation’s key initiatives implemented during the past period, as well as its future plans.

The meeting forms part of the Foundation Board’s ongoing oversight of its activities and the implementation of international programmes and initiatives designed to create a positive and sustainable impact through basketball worldwide.
