The administrative delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s mission to the 6th Asian Beach Games, scheduled to take place in Sanya, China, from 22 to 30 April 2026, held a coordination meeting with the participating sports federations on Monday, 6 April 2026, via video conference.
The meeting was attended by Head of Delegation Mr Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar, Deputy Head of Delegation Ms Maryam Mardana, and members of the administrative delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, Mr Abdul Ghaffar welcomed the attendees and commended the cooperation of the participating federations, namely the Bahrain Handball Federation, Bahrain Wrestling Federation, Bahrain Basketball Association and Bahrain Aquatics, wishing them success in the Games.
During the meeting, Mr Abdul Ghaffar delivered an overview of the Games, introducing the administrative and media delegation accompanying the mission. He also presented detailed information on travel itineraries, arrival and departure schedules, competition timetables, opening and closing ceremonies, competition and training venues, transport arrangements, catering services, and the athletes’ village, including its facilities such as dining halls and accommodation, as well as the distance between the village and competition venues. He also reviewed the requirements of the participating national teams.
The meeting was attended by Farhan Saleh (Bahrain Aquatics), Ismail Baqer and Fahad Jassim (Bahrain Handball Federation), and Abed Al Ansari and Ahmed Elias (Bahrain Basketball Federation).
