Her Excellency Shaikha Dr Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Member of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee and Head of the Gender Equal Opportunities Committee in Sports extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the successful hosting of the Gymnasiade 2024 and Bahrain's remarkable accomplishment of 66 medals, including 13 gold, 21 silver, and 32 bronze.

Shaikha Dr Hessa also congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. She attributed this success to the unwavering support their Highnesses' unwavering support toward the sports sector in Bahrain.

She further praised the contributions of the Ministry of Education, the General Sports Authority, the Olympic Committee, the Bahrain Schools and Universities Sports Federation, volunteers, and all stakeholders involved in organising the event, expressing her hope for continued progress and success in Bahraini sports.
