His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has issued Decision No. (1) of December 2025, appointing new members to the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee for the upcoming term.

As part of this restructuring, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa has been appointed Vice President of the Board of Directors by the committee's statutes, regulations, and governance framework.

Moreover, Decision No. (2) of 2025 endorsed the appointment of Shaikha Dr Al-Majmoua bint Khalifa as a Board Member, underscoring the committee’s dedication to inclusivity and exceptional leadership under its governing laws and policies.

These appointments reflect Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s strategic vision to strengthen the leadership of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, ensure the continued development of sports in the Kingdom, and enhance Bahrain’s presence in the international sporting arena.
