His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Her Excellency Dr Aisha Hilal Sayan Koytak, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Committee’s headquarters in Seef District, in the presence of His Excellency Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and Mr Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar, Executive Director of Operations.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa welcomed the Ambassador Dr Aisha Hilal and conveyed to her the greetings of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

His Highness praised the depth of the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of Turkey across all levels and fields, affirming the importance of further strengthening and developing them in a manner that serves the mutual interests and prosperity of both friendly nations.

During the meeting, His Highness and Her Excellency Dr Aisha Hilal Sayan Koytak discussed avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the sports field. His Highness commended the notable progress in relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Turkey, particularly in coordination and joint cooperation, emphasising the importance of advancing these ties towards further development and growth.

For her part, Her Excellency Dr Aisha Hilal Sayan Koytak expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness for the warm welcome and hospitality, affirming the importance of such meetings in strengthening prospects for joint cooperation in the sports sector between the two sides. She also conveyed her best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
