His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, took part in the 45th General Assembly meeting of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), held in the sisterly State of Kuwait, as a member of the OCA Executive Board.

During the session, His Highness delivered a speech in which he expressed his sincere appreciation to Kuwait for its warm hospitality and reception. He reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to hosting the 3rd Asian Youth Games at the highest standards, pledging to mobilise all resources and efforts to ensure a distinguished and successful edition. His Highness highlighted the strong support Bahraini sports continue to receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

Also participating in the meeting was His Excellency Mr Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and member of the OCA Executive Board, who delivered a presentation on the activities of the Media Committee.
