The Union of Arab National Olympic Committees (UANOC), based on the powers vested in its President, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, and following the approval of the General Assembly at its 23rd meeting held on Saturday, 8 November 2025, which granted the Kingdom of Bahrain the right to host the 16th Arab Games in 2027, and pursuant to the letter submitted by the Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee regarding the formation of the Supreme Organising Committee for the Games, has decided to appoint His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, as Vice President of the Executive Office of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees. This appointment shall remain in effect until the conclusion of the 16th Arab Games, scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2027.
