Nabeel Taha Recognizes Participants in Conclusion of Physical Literacy Course for Physical Education Instructors

Seef District - Bahrain Olympic Committee:

The Olympic Academy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Department of Physical Education, successfully concluded the physical literacy workshop for children in the foundational stage at Isa Town Primary and Preparatory School for Boys from January 7 to 11.

 

On the concluding day, certificates of participation were presented to all the physical education teachers who took part in the workshop. President of the Olympic Academy Dr. Nabeel Taha distributed the certificates in the presence of the Head of Training and Development Mr. Mahmoud Yateem,.

 

This noteworthy initiative targeted the age group of 7-9 years, focusing on cultivating basic motor skills essential for the physical health and comprehensive development of children. The program encompassed tailored exercises designed for this age range, including activities such as one-foot balance exercises, straight-line walking, dynamic running drills, and jumping and landing exercises aimed at improving flexibility and physical strength.

 

In addition to individual activities, the program incorporated group-oriented exercises such as throwing and catching ball activities to enhance hand-eye coordination, as well as crawling and climbing exercises to fortify strength and flexibility. The active participation of children in group games further encouraged cooperation and teamwork.

 

This program represents a significant stride in advancing children's motor skills and promoting their physical well-being, establishing a robust foundation for their future involvement in sports. The Olympic Academy remains committed to fostering the holistic development of youth through targeted programs and engaging activities.
