His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, on the occasion of the Royal Decree reappointing His Highness as President of the General Sports Authority.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali affirmed that this well-deserved royal trust is a testament to Shaikh Khalid’s instrumental role in advancing the Kingdom’s sports sector. He noted that the visionary leadership of His Highness has brought about a qualitative leap in Bahraini sports, both in terms of achievements and infrastructure development. His Highness has firmly embedded a culture of excellence and innovation within the sporting landscape, in alignment with the leadership’s aspirations to elevate Bahraini sport to global standards.

“We have all witnessed the remarkable progress achieved in the sports system during the past period thanks to His Highness’s efforts and forward-thinking initiatives,” Shaikh Isa said. “These efforts have significantly improved institutional operations, empowered national federations and sports clubs, and opened new horizons for athletes to achieve honourable accomplishments.”
