Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Hosts President of Syrian Olympic Committee

Seef District - Bahrain Olympic Committee:

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of Cabinet Affairs and Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, warmly welcomed Mr. Firas Mualla, President of the Syrian Olympic Committee and President of the General Sports Federation, alongside Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Khatib, Vice President of the Syrian Football Federation and Member of the People’s Assembly. The meeting, which took place in the presence of Mr. Faris Al Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, marked the occasion of their official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

His Highness extended a gracious welcome to the delegation, considering Bahrain their second home, and conveyed the regards of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. His Highness commended the strong and distinguished bilateral relations shared between the Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Syrian Olympic Committee. The meeting delved into discussions on the ongoing collaboration between the two committees and explored avenues to translate this partnership into tangible results at the Arab, regional, and international levels.

 

In response, Mr. Firas Mualla conveyed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa for the warm reception. He commended the robust ties between the two brotherly countries and emphasized the commitment to fostering continued cooperation between both entities, with the shared goal of advancing sports in their respective nations.
