The Equal Opportunities and Gender Balance Sports Field Committee held a coordination meeting with the Bahrain Chess Federation as part of its plan to visit all national sports federations and meet with their recognised women’s committees. The aim of the visit was to review the Federation’s programmes and activities, and to explore avenues of cooperation to further promote women’s participation in chess and sports in general. The meeting took place at the Federation’s headquarters.
