The Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Excellency Mr Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, has commended the launch of the inaugural Knights Sports Tournament, which will be held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, during the holy month of Ramadan.

Al Kooheji emphasised that the tournament represents a significant milestone in the Bahraini sports calendar, reflecting His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s unwavering commitment to developing the sports movement, fostering fair competition, and encouraging youth engagement in sports. He highlighted that the initiative is designed to motivate young people to embrace sports, promote social cohesion, and instill a culture of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

He stated: “The Knights Sports Tournament is an extension of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s pioneering initiatives aimed at elevating Bahraini sports.
