Seef District – Bahrain Olympic Committee:

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has endorsed the appointment of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, as Vice President for the 3rd Asian Youth Games. The Games, scheduled to take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 22 to 31 October 2025, mark a significant milestone for the region’s sporting landscape.

Shaikh Isa expressed his gratitude and thanked His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for his nomination. He also extended his appreciation to the OCA Executive Board for their trust and pledged to uphold the high standards expected of the position.

“Bahrain’s hosting of the Asian Youth Games reflects the Kingdom’s leading role in the international sports community and its proven ability to organise world-class events,” Shaikh Isa stated, attributing this success to the continuous support of Bahrain’s wise leadership.

He further affirmed his commitment to fostering collaboration among Asian nations and ensuring the Games’ success, adding that such efforts would enhance Bahrain’s reputation and elevate Asian sports globally.
