Educational Workshops at the International School Sports Games "Bahrain 2024" Enhance Young Athletes’ Skills and Knowledge

The organising committee is set to host a series of educational workshops to bolster the skills and knowledge of young participants in the International School Sports Games (Bahrain 2024), which will be held under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Aligned with Bahrain’s vision of enhancing athletes' experiences, the workshops will cover essential topics such as anti-doping, mental health, and the importance of nutrition in athletic performance. International and local experts will deliver these workshops, ensuring high-quality educational content.

In addition to raising awareness about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the workshops aim to educate participants on dealing with psychological pressures during competitions and the role of balanced nutrition in improving sports performance. Athletes will also receive practical advice on creating effective nutritional plans to optimise their training and match performances.

These workshops will allow participants to engage with coaches and experts from various countries, foster new relationships, and expand their global network. The initiative emphasises Bahrain's commitment to developing the next generation of athletes and enriching their overall experience at this international event.

The workshops will form a core part of the "Bahrain 2024" programme, reflecting Bahrain’s dedication to advancing sports education.
