Abdul Ghaffar Presents Certificates to Participants as Physical Literacy Course Concludes with Strong Engagement

The Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Olympic Academy has successfully concluded the Physical Literacy Course, held from 22 to 29 June in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, at Almarifa Secondary Girls School. The course welcomed a distinguished group of physical education teachers.

The closing ceremony was attended by Mr Ahmed Abdul Ghaffar, Executive Director of Operations at the Bahrain Olympic Committee, who presented certificates to the participants and praised their positive engagement and high level of performance throughout the course.

The programme included a combination of practical applications and theoretical lectures designed to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity. It aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively promote fitness concepts and proper movement techniques among students in schools.

On this occasion, Mr Ahmed Abdul Ghaffar stated: "This course reflects the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s commitment to spreading a culture of sport and promoting the principles of healthy physical activity within the community, particularly in schools, which play a foundational role in developing a health-conscious and physically active generation. We also deeply appreciate the cooperation of the Ministry of Education and its vital role in the success of this joint initiative."

The course featured a series of activities and practical training sessions that showcased the participants’ strong engagement and their benefit from the high-quality academic and professional content delivered by a select group of expert lecturers.
