Ahead of the Arab Clubs Championship in Sharjah, Hessa Bint Khaled Evaluates Al-Ahly Women's Basketball Team's Readiness

Her Excellency Shaikha Dr. Hessa Bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Member of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee and Head of the Equal Opportunities Committee for Genders, recently visited the training sessions of the Al Ahli Women’s Basketball Team. The team is gearing up for its participation in the Women’s Arab Club Games scheduled from February 2 to 12. The visit included the presence of Fajr Jassim, Member of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee and Director of the Department of Arab Relations, Ahmed Yousef, Secretary of the Bahrain Basketball Federation, Salama Ateeq, Director of the Delegation, Hussein Madan, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Ahli Club and Head of the Age Groups and Women’s Basketball Authority, and the administrative delegation.

 

Her Excellency Shaikha Dr. Hessa Bint Khalid Al Khalifa actively engaged with the Al Ahli Basketball team, gaining insights into the team's latest stages of preparation for the upcoming Arab competition. She witnessed firsthand the readiness of the players for the upcoming Arab tournament, reflecting the advanced level of Bahraini basketball, especially in women’s sports.

 

During her visit, Her Excellency addressed the players, as well as the technical and administrative staff, encouraging them to display honor and give their utmost effort to uphold Bahraini basketball. She urged them to strive diligently to reach the podium and deliver performances that match the esteemed status of the game.

 

Emphasizing the Bahrain Olympic Committee's unwavering support for the Al Ahli women’s team, she assured that the administrative mission would spare no effort in providing all necessary support to pave the way for achieving the desired results. She concluded by extending her best wishes to all the players, expressing hope for their success and good fortune in the upcoming championship.
