The Bahrain Olympic Committee greeted our national wrestling team player, Hassan Mohammed Al Balushi, upon his return from the United Arab Emirates on January 27, 2024. Competing in the Federation Cup for Wrestling, Al Balushi secured the top spot and a gold medal in the 41-kilogram category.

Welcoming him at Bahrain International Airport were Mr. Hisham Al-Balushi, Director of Sports Federations at the Olympic Committee, and Khalid Muhammad Haji, Public Relations Specialist. The reception included a display of appreciation with flowers to recognize Al-Balushi's outstanding achievement and encourage him to maintain his exceptional performances, aiming for more successes in the future.

Al-Balushi's victory in the tournament, featuring 300 players across junior, junior, and youth categories from around the world, showcased his remarkable wrestling abilities. The Director of Sports Federations, in congratulating Hassan Mohammed Al Balushi, commended his stellar performance in outclassing competitors and standing atop the podium. He extended best wishes for a bright future, urging Al-Balushi to sustain his dedication to training and demonstrate the determination needed for greater accomplishments in upcoming tournaments."
