?Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar affirmed the importance of promoting sport culture within the community and spread the concept of sport and exercise to boost physical and mental health.
This was announced after his meeting with instructors of a dedicated training programme, being conducted by the committee, at the committee offices in Seef.
Askar lauded the efforts exerted by the instructors in an attempt to raise awareness on sport as an everyday lifestyle.
He also emphasized the importance of the programme and the way it’s being presented to the public to expand the culture of sport and offer a number of advises to ensure sport safety and avoid any faulty practices.
