?A course  in strategic planning in the field of sport, organised by the Sports Training and Development Section which is under the umbrella of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, concluded yesterday (Feb. 26).
Twenty five sports officials, representing the Public Security Sports Federation at the Ministry of Interior, in addition to a number of participants from Kuwait, attended the course.
Held at the section premises at Manama Club in Juffair, the course was organised in cooperation with the Public Security Sports Federation of the Interior Ministry over three consecutive days.
The course highlighted a number of topics on its agenda which are related to the basics of the strategic thinking, strategic analysis of the internal and external environment of sports organizations, how to develop tools and institutions visions, identify global practices in the strategic planning.
These session were conducted by Dr. Redha Al Mousawi, who presented a range of theoretical and practical applications the students.
The participants, on their part, expressed their admiration for the great scientific content of the study, and praised the keenness of the sports training and development section to hold such scientific sessions that will enrich their experiences and promote their expertise and knowledge, while providing them with knowledge which contributes to fine-tune their skills.
It is noteworthy that this session was in the framework of the sports training and development section annual plan to qualify the administrative and technical staff to develop the outputs of the Bahraini sport.
