?Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President, has directed to stop using paper transactions and replace it with electronic transactions ‘Green Policy’.
His Highness said that the decision comes within the framework of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports to protect nature in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to ensure the sustainability of its elements, preserve its resources and development for future generations. He urged all clubs, sports associations and youth centers to implement this decision as of January 2019.
His Highness stressed the importance of spreading environmental culture, increasing the level of environmental awareness, promoting the values of the green environment and sustainable development by encouraging the use of environmentally friendly technologies and strengthening the community partnership with all official and non-official bodies, urging them to preserve the environment to create a pollution-free environment.
