Bahrain Olympic Committee acting general secretary Abdulrahman Askar congratulated Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and BOC President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa on being appointed by a Royal Order as His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs.
Askar stressed Shaikh Nasser’s worthiness of the royal trust, which is a tribute to his tremendous efforts in promoting charity work as well as the youth and sport affairs.
He also praised Shaikh Nasser’s relentless efforts as Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation Board of Trustees which contributed to Bahrain’s humanitarian achievements inside and outside Bahrain.
Askar noted that the Royal will reflects high efficiency enjoyed by Shaikh Nasser in the areas of charity and youth work, which witnessed a quantum leap thanks to his dedication and devotion for the Kingdom of Bahrain, and wished him continued success.
Shaikh Nasser was also congratulated on his new post by BOC board member and woman’s sport committee chairwoman Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa as well as other high-ranking sports officials.
Askar also congratulated Shaikh Nasser, captain of the Bahrain Royal Endurance Team, on winning first place overall in the Windsor Ride held in the UK recently.
Askar said this outstanding finish is a continuation to Shaikh Nasser’s successes achieved in equestrian and endurance races, in which he brought honor to Bahrain and lift its flag high in different international events.
