?Training and development specialist at the Bahrain Olympic Committee Ali Qamber attended the Arab Confederation of Sport Leaders Centres and Institutes held in Muscat recently.The meeting was held on the sidelines of the clubs and sports federations leadership development course, organized by the Ministry of Sports Affairs in cooperation with the Arab League and the Arab Confederation of Sport Leaders Centres and Institutes.Qamber said the meeting discussed several topics on confederation agenda , such as reviewing reports on the secretary general and the treasurer on the past activity of the confederation.They also talked about a study on the problems facing the confederation, a study of confederation action plan proposed for the next period, as well as other papers submitted by its members.Qamber said that the course was designed to give participants the basics of administrative success, and skills of decision-making as well as planning, organization and motivation skills.They also dealt with many important themes, notably the modern concept of management, and the role of the director, and how to explore the staff abilities, raising the tendency of learning, and the steps to solve problems as well as building and managing team skills.
