?Specialized orthopedic surgeon Dr. Klemen Strazar is set to make his first visit to Bahrain next month.
The Slovenian surgeon’s visit, scheduled from April 1 to 3, follows an agreement with the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) National Sports Medicine Centre to offer his expertise in the field of sports injuries and surgeries.
Dr Strazar has now joined a highly-qualified team of surgeons to conduct regular visits to its dedicated National Sports Medicine Centre, including famous Finnish surgeon Jussi Rantanen, who performed a number of medical check-ups and surgeries for athletic and non-athletic patients alike.
National Sports Medicine Centre director Dr Khalid Al Shaikh said agreement signed with Dr Strazar added another success to the centre in its bid to develop its services to the public.
Dr Khalid noted the significant experience enjoyed by Dr Strazar in the fields of knee joints, shoulder and pelvis.
He noted the importance of such visit in the treatment of many injured athletic and non-athletic patients who are expected to rush to the centre during this three-day visit, and urged the visiting patients to book their appointments.
