A Level 2 course of the National Coaching Programme is will come to a close today (Friday). The event is being organized by the Sports Training and Development Centre, which is under the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
It’s part of the centre’s annual plan aimed to develop and qualify national sports authorities representing sports organisations.
Centre director Nabeel Taha (mental preparation) and Mohsin Ali (sports programmes preparation), are two certified coaches from the Coaching Association of Canada who presented their own topics during the course sessions.
Other topics were presented by national coaches Ali Al Anzoor (anti-doping) and Adel Al Asfoor (sports disputes management). The course was supervised by training specialist Waleed Shuwaiter.
Those who succeed to have at least 70 per cent at the final exam are eligible to pass Level 2 of the National Coaching Programme.
Meanwhile, the National Coaching Programme Level 1 gets underway tomorrow (Nov. 5) and will run until November 12.
Abdulla Al Dakheel, Mohammed Bakhsh and Adel Al Asfoor will present this particular course, in which they will highlight different topics. The course is supervised by Hussain Ali.
