A Level 2 course, part of the National Coaching Programme, came to an and with 26 coaches from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, in the fray.
The programme is conducted by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Olympic Academy in cooperation with the Coaching Association of Canada, and aims to qualify national competencies within different national sports organisations.
Abdulla Al Dakheel, Adel Al Asfoor, Mohsin Al Ghanem and Ali Al Anzoor presented sessions on different topics during this two-week course.
Training section head Mahmood Yateem said all the participants had theoretical tests that were mandatory to pass level 2 of the progrmame. All those who passed the course are eligible to enter level 3 after two years.
