?A Level 1 Course, part of the National Coaching Certification Programme, is now underway. Organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Sports Training and Development Centre, the course will run until February 25 at the centre premises in Juffair.
It’s part of the centre’s annual plan aimed to qualify and develop coaches from Bahrain and abroad.
Three instructors – Abdulla Al Dakheel, Mohammed Bakhsh and Adel Al Asfoor will speak at the course, at the end of which the participants will undergo final exams and must achieve 70 per cent of the targeted marks in order to pass the course.
The National Coaching Certification Programme is organized in cooperation with the Coaching Association of Canada to prepare and qualify national coaches in the field of training in an attempt to expand the foundation of Bahraini coaches, and become eligible to lead national teams in different sports.
The course is being supervised by Hussain Ali Abbas, the Sports Training and Development Specialist.
