September 11, 20190

?Registration is now open for a series of sport management courses, set to take place later this year. These courses are organised by the Sports Training and Development Section under the umbrella of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
These courses are part of the BOC annual plan aimed to prepare and qualify administrative cadres in different sports associations and organisations.
There are three courses scheduled to take place third year in cooperation with the World Academy of Sport (WAoS).
Tipping off this year’s activities will be the Introduction of Sport Management Programme, due to be held from May 4 to 8.
It will be followed by two parts of the Sport Management Programme, the first of which will take place from May 12 to 15, while the second is from May 8 to 12.
The section is also holding the first part of the National Federation Management Diploma  from October 27 to 30, to be followed by the second part of the same programme from December 7 to 11.
Mahmood Yateem, Executive Coordinator of the Sports Training and Development Section, said these courses are in line with the BOC strategy, aimed at developing and qualifying national cadres of different sports federations and bodies, which would have positive influence on the Bahraini sport as a whole.
Yateem said the door is open for all youth centres, clubs and sports associations from Bahrain and abroad wishing to participate in these courses, and stressed the importance of such courses in bringing up qualified sports cadres to assume leading posts at sports clubs and federations.
He added that the participation of a large number of students in the management courses held last year reflect the quality of the programmes offered by the section, keen to attract the best instructors and scientific programs that enrich the experiences and skills of the administrators.
