The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) is having this year’s Ramadan ‘Ghabga’ tonight (Wednesday) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Manama.
This annual gathering is open for all committee staff and is organized as per partnership with Bahrain Journalists Association’s Sports Media Committee and patronized by BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar.
A number of activities have been prepared as part of the evening, including the opening remarks by Askar, followed by a heritage show, the honoring of the committee’s pioneer staff and raffle draws on several awards.
Askar expressed pride for bringing this occasion every year in cooperation with the Sports Media Committee, and invited all sports media representatives in Bahrain to attend the event.
“The Bahrain Olympic Committee has always been keen to have its Ghabga every year to further strengthen the relationship among its employees by bringing them together under one roof,” said Askar.
“Having media personnel at this gathering is something that the committee is seeking for and a great pride for all of us in an attempt to boost ties with the media authorities Bahrain, which we consider as a major partner in promoting our programmes”.
