?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) sports affairs executive director Abduljali Asad affirmed the committee’s keenness to support different sports authorities for their contributions to produce athletic heroes.
This was announced after his meeting with Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) coaching course conductor Zahid Ali, who is visiting the kingdom to manage a technical course organized by the Bahrain Hockey Association for national hockey coaches.
Asad also stressed the committee’s commitment to back hockey coaches in cooperation with the Bahrain Cricket Association, and urged them to link the practical and theoretical parts together and engage in the four-level National Coaching Programmes, organized by the Olympic Academy, to boost their abilities and in the field of training.
On his part, Ali expressed thanks and appreciation to the Bahrain Olympic Committee for its support to hockey, which is considered one of the most popular sports, and its continuous eagerness to develop the coaches in all sports in general to enrich their experiences.
