?The Bahrain Olympic committee (BOC) resumed its meetings with different sports association to discuss job structures and budgets for 2014.Their meetings are part of the committee’s continued keenness to promote communication process with national sports associations.The BOC’s most recently had meetings with the snooker and billiards, swimming and cricket associations, as they looked into their visions in regards to the proposed job structures in order to offer gradual application from 2014.During these meetings, the associations made a comprehensive visual presentation on next year’s budget, and revealed the future objectives on which the budget was built. They were also on the overseas competitions, training camps and its objectives.From the BOC side, these meetings were attended by technical director Lounes Maden, Sports Affairs Directorate executive coordinator Hamad Al Baker, Human Resources executive coordinator Hood Al Mannai and Mumen Al Khatib of the Technical Affairs Directorate.Early on, the committee met with representatives of 14 associations. They were football, volleyball, handball, basketball, weightlifting and bodybuilding, equestrian and endurance, table tennis, bowling, martial arts, golf, maritime sports, sport for all, gymnastics and fencing.Similar meetings with the other associations will take place soon, including the associations of athletics, badminton and squash, cycling, tennis, mind sports, shooting, disabled sports, motor sports and pigeons.Late on, the Sports Associations Directorate will prepare further schedule to complete its timetable for the remaining associations meetings.
