?Bahrain’s national beach handball and bodybuilding teams have touched down on Da Nang ahead of this year’s Asian Beach Games.
The fifth edition of the Asian Beach Games is scheduled to take place in Vietnam from September 24 to October 3.
Bahrain is competing in four sports, namely handball, jiu jitsu, wrestling and bodybuilding, with Sultan Al Ghanem leading the delegation.
The handball team is led by administrator Ahmed Al Najem and include 10 players, while Saleh Al Ammar and Ahmed Haider head the bodybuilding team, to be represented by three bodybuilders.
Ahmed Janahi, administrator of the wrestling and jiu jitsu teams, has also arrived in Vietnam yesterday. All four teams will commence their respective training today.
Meanwhile, the technical meetings for the jiu jitsu and handball will take place tomorrow (Saturday), while the bodybuilding and wrestling meetings have been scheduled for September 29.
