?Supreme Council for Youth and Sports deputy general secretary and BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar made a phone call to Bahrain football referee Emad Al Khashman, who is presently at one of Al Khobar Hospitals, after a traffic accident while taking his family on a trip of Saudi Arabia.
In his call, Askar conveyed the greetings of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President, and wishes for the referee for a speedy recovery.
Askar was briefed on the health condition of the referee and his family, and affirmed the committee’s commitment to follow up on their treatment process and ensure their safe return to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On his part, Bahrain Football Association’s Referees Committee chairman Khalifa Al Dossary expressed gratitude to the BOC general secretary for this kind gesture and the continued support of Shaikh Nasser to all Bahraini athletes, which reflects the strong bond linking the Bahrain sport community.
