Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar received at his office Saudi coach Ali Al Qarni, who is visiting the kingdom to attend one of the training courses, being organized by the committee’s Sports Training and Development Section.
During the meeting, Askar welcomed the visiting coach, and praised the strong ties linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Askar affirmed the BOC keenness to attract technical and administrative officials from Saudi Arabia in courses organized by the section, in line with the continued cooperation between the BOC and its Saudi counterpart.
The BOC general secretary noted that the committee seeks to apply best programmes and training courses as well as bringing the most prominent instructors in order to achieve maximum scientific benefit for the participants, which is in line with the directives of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Askar also expressed pleasure to see participants from Saudi Arabia in such courses, and thanked Al Qarni for making his 10th involvement in various training courses since 2007, which underlines the significant of these programmes organized by the section.
On his part, Al Qarni noted the distinguished level of the Sports Training and Development Section and the quality of the scientific content as well as the instructors running these courses, which aim to provide ideal environment and all that would be new and beneficial in the world of training.
