?The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) “Injaz-3” was held on Thursday (Sep. 10) at the Art Rotana Hotel at Amwaj Islands, Muharraq.
The session was attended by BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, executive directors and heads of departments.
The focus of the meeting was on the BOC achievements during the second half of last year.
Strategic Planning director Hassn Abdullatif said that the meeting also focused on the obstacles which cub the work of the BOC departments.
Each head of department was given the opportunity to outline the plans and programmes which have been lined up for 2016 in line with the BOC strategy.
The session concluded with Askar stressing the importance of making more efforts in the coming stage in an attempt to build on the past achievements of the committee.
He noted that the committee continues to apply its strategy and turn it into a set of new initiatives, projects and programmes designed to develop the sports movement and support sports federations in the kingdom of Bahrain.
The first two BOC meetings had already been held over the past year to discuss the achievements which were accomplished in the first six months of 2014.
